THERE'S plenty happening at our community pub this November, with a fantastic line-up of community events to bring people together, celebrate our volunteers, and support local and wider causes.
Whether you’re a regular, a volunteer, or someone looking to get more involved, there’s something for everyone this month.
Volunteer Drop-In and Celebration — Sunday 9 November - 4pm – 8:30pm
We’re kicking off the month with a special evening dedicated to our brilliant volunteers.
From 4pm, anyone interested in volunteering at the pub is warmly invited to drop in, have a chat, and find out more about how they can get involved in keeping this community hub thriving.
Later in the evening, from 6pm, we’ll be raising a glass to our existing volunteers with a Volunteer Celebration, giving our hardworking team the chance to relax, unwind, and enjoy being on the other side of the bar for a change!
It’s our way of saying a huge thank you for all the time, energy and heart they pour into the Radnor Arms.
Charity Quiz Night — Monday 10 November - from 7pm
Put your thinking caps on and join us for a Quiz Night in support of the upkeep of New Radnor’s Castle Mound.
The evening starts with a delicious pre-quiz supper at 6pm, followed by the quiz itself from 7pm. Expect a great mix of fun questions, friendly competition, and plenty of laughter – all for a wonderful local cause.
Games Night — Tuesday 18 November, 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Calling all board game lovers! The Radnor Arms will be hosting its first ever Games Night this month.
Come along, bring your favourite game (or try one of ours), and enjoy an evening of relaxed fun, friendly rivalry, and good company.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a Scrabble strategist, a Monopoly mogul, or just in it for the laughs.
Let’s Talk Dementia — Thursday 27 November - 1pm - 3pm
To round off the month, we’re proud to host ‘Let’s Talk Dementia’, a special dementia awareness evening aimed at fostering understanding and support within our community.
This informal session offers a safe and friendly space to learn more about dementia, share experiences, and find out what local help and resources are available.
Our dementia awareness event is for people living with dementia at home and those who care for them, care home staff and residents, health professional and care staff.
We've also designed and released our first calendar for the month of November, showcasing all that is happening at the Radnor Arms. Monthly calendar will be designed and released, so keep an eye out:

Need a space to run an activity?
Local groups are more than welcome to use pub spaces informally when the bar is open, or if you want to run an activity at the pub, whether a one off or a regular slot, contact us via email at contact@rahl-cbs.org or call 01544 329 895
Our volunteer lead team at the Radnor Arms looks forward to welcoming you throughout November, for good company, great conversation, and a strong sense of community.
