Quiz to bring New Radnor community together to celebrate Pride month

THE Radnor Arms, a community-owned pub in New Radnor, Mid Wales, is hosting a Pride quiz for the second year running since reopening to the public.

Fast becoming a local tradition, the pub is proudly reaffirming its support for the LGBTQ+ community by celebrating Pride month with its popular pride-themed quiz.

Hosted by a local quizmaster legend, the event offers participants the chance to test their knowledge with questions on all things LGBTQ+, alongside general knowledge and music rounds.

A spokesperson for the Radnor Arms committee, said: “We’re an inclusive, community-owned pub that welcomes and supports everyone who comes through our doors."

They continued: "We want people of all ages to feel comfortable, valued and included whenever they visit us here at the Radnor. Pride month allows us to ensure people from all walks of life feel welcome and safe when visiting us.”

Following the success of last year’s pride quiz, organisers are hoping this year’s event will be even more fabulous. With the addition of the newly opened back bar, the pub can now accommodate more teams.

The pride quiz takes place on June 11. Participants should be seated and ready for a 7pm start, with the bar open from 6pm.

Teams of 2-6. £2 per person. Chinese bingo and raffle.
