THE Radnor Arms, located in Mid Wales, is continuing its commitment to community support and engagement around dementia.
Opening in 2024 after being purchased by the community, the community-owned pub launched a dementia support session in late 2025, offering meaningful gatherings for those living with dementia and their families.
The monthly event gives people in the community the chance to build connections with others living with dementia, as well as their families and carers.
Held at the pub, the sessions provides a warm, welcoming space to connect, share experiences, and find support within the local community.
Those attending can expect friendly conversation, accessible board games, helpful resources and information, and a relaxed, inclusive environment. Refreshments, including soup, cakes, tea and coffee, are also provided.
The support sessions are now held on the last Thursday of every month, from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend, and there is no need to book.
