LOCALS in New Radnor and the surrounding areas are invited to attend a Dementia Awareness Session.
The interactive session will provide valuable information on understanding dementia, maintaining brain health, and exploring practical strategies to support people living with dementia.

Participants will also learn how to make sure their voice and wishes are heard when receiving care.
A special “Show & Tell” segment will feature a range of helpful resources and tools designed to assist both individuals and carers in everyday life.
The event is suitable for people living with dementia, their family members and carers, as well as care home staff, residents, and health or care professionals.
Organisers hope the session will encourage open discussion and improve understanding within the community, helping people feel more confident and supported when it comes to dementia care.
Everyone is welcome to come along, learn, ask questions, and share experiences in a friendly and informative setting.
The event will take place at the Radnor Arms, Broad Street, on Thursday 27 November, between 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
