RESIDENTS of New Radnor and the surrounding areas are invited to attend a friendly, informal session about future care planning, which is taking place at the Radnor Arms.
The event, offers everyone the chance to find out more about how to make their care wishes known, now and for the future.
We all have the right to make our own decisions about care and treatment.
This open session is designed to help people understand the options available and feel confident about recording their choices.
Discussions will cover:
Future Care Planning – thinking ahead about the care and support that matter most to you.
Lasting Power of Attorney – choosing someone you trust to make decisions if you’re unable to.
Advanced Decisions to Refuse Treatment (ADRT) – formally setting out any treatments you don’t want in the future.
Understanding these rights can make a big difference. Planning ahead helps your family, friends, and healthcare professionals respect your wishes, ensuring your voice is heard when it matters most.
The event will take place on Friday 5 December 2025, from 12 midday to 2pm at the Radnor Arms in New Radnor. Refreshments and light snacks will be available.
Come along and enjoy a cup of tea, ask questions, and learn how you can take control of your future care.
No booking required. Everyone is welcome.
